HPLC Calibration was done in Reverse Phase, but not in
normal phase why explain?

Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback

HPLC Calibration was done in Reverse Phase, but not in normal phase why explain?..

Answer / prabhakaran.g.s

Reverse phase and Normal phase classification is based on
the mobile phase and stationary phase (column). But we're
calibrating the HPLC for PUMP,COLUMN OVEN,AUTOINJECTOR and
DETECTOR etc.So we can perform the calibration for HPLC
with Normal phase also. But the ease availability of column
and mobile phase of Reversed phase, it is widely use for
the HPLC calibration.

HPLC Calibration was done in Reverse Phase, but not in normal phase why explain?..

Answer / d.sambireddy

Reverse phase and Normal phase related to the mobile phase
and column.
But we are calibrating the HPLC Instument all parameters in
Reverse phase calibration.it is equally suitable to Normal
phase analysis
No need to check to normal phase calibration

HPLC Calibration was done in Reverse Phase, but not in normal phase why explain?..

Answer / achyut

calibration -related with the total performance of hplc system
pump,flow , injection , accuracy & so on
in case of reverse phase, system suitability performed with well accuracy & precision because in rp volatile organic
phases are not used so the chances of getting accuacy is more
than np

HPLC Calibration was done in Reverse Phase, but not in normal phase why explain?..

Answer / pramod prajapati

Reverse phase and Normal Phase is related to mobile phase
and stationary phase used in HPLC,but here we are
calibrating HPLC and can be done in any phase.

HPLC Calibration was done in Reverse Phase, but not in normal phase why explain?..

Answer / deepak pal

WE CALIBRATE HPLC FOR REVERSE PHASE BCOZ ONLY MOBILE PHASE
IS DIFFERENT IN NORMAL PHASE AND WE USE MOSTLY REVERSE
PHASE CHROMATOGRAPHIC TECHNIQUES FOR ANALYSING SAMPLES AND
OTHER CONDITIONS REMAIN ALMOST SAME FOR NORMAL PHASE

HPLC Calibration was done in Reverse Phase, but not in normal phase why explain?..

Answer / b srinu

HPLC Calibration is a parameter of instrument performance in normal phase we changed column and mobile phase.
normal phase calibration not required. if we monitoring normal phase we can perform normal phase calibration.

HPLC Calibration was done in Reverse Phase, but not in normal phase why explain?..

Answer / sandeepkatakam

due to cost effective we are doing in RP.otherwise we can
do in both

HPLC Calibration was done in Reverse Phase, but not in normal phase why explain?..

Answer / tejas

we have aslo done by normal phase

HPLC Calibration was done in Reverse Phase, but not in normal phase why explain?..

Answer / zahir

In reverse phase it is easy to calibrate hplc than normal phase bec in normal phase n haxane is used it v highly evapurate so it also change in the area of the sample as time passes and n hexane is break septa of vial so we preferred reverse phase than normal phase.

HPLC Calibration was done in Reverse Phase, but not in normal phase why explain?..

Answer / oumspn

coz caffeine is nonpolar & we have to take rp hplc
